Wellness Inspired Gift Ideas

In the spirit of the holiday season, I'm sharing some wellness-inspired gift suggestions at every price point. Most feature small, woman-owned businesses, and each was chosen with intention. Feel free to revisit this list for birthdays or any future gift ideas, I swear by each item!

Atomic Habits - This is truly the most impactful book I've read when it comes to building habits to create the life you want, not just in health but in every aspect of life. Such a great gift or stocking stuffer, and if you can, try to purchase from your local bookstore.

Othos Candles - A non-toxic candle that also looks v chic. The wooden wick allows it to burn for 60 hours, and I am telling you, they are the best smelling candles I have ever come across. Ever. Visitors always ask where they're from! Favorites: Musk 2, Wood 2 and Wood 3.

My Matcha Lip Balm - The three-ingredient moisture stick that will literally never leave you with chapped lips again. You can also use it under the eyes to decrease dark circles and puffiness (mom hack). Great stocking stuffer!

Potted Plant - I truly believe plants are the gift that keep on giving. They make a house a home, they grow with you, and can even enhance air quality. The key is to gift a plant that is potted, you can either pot it yourself or a plant shop can do it for you (aka not the nursery pot it comes in). Also, provide the care instructions for that plant to make it easy for the receiver to love on it. I'd suggest finding a local plant shop vs buying at a hardware store. If you're local to Nashville, Flora has a gorgeous selection and is my go-to for everything house plants!

Daily Positive Affirmation Texts - Honestly cannot say enough good things about Kate Eskuri, and her new daily positive affirmation texts. They are so uplifting, reflective and inspiring. I think this is such a unique and thoughtful gift idea for a loved one, offering a daily moment to take a little pause. It's super affordable and a pay-what-you-can model ($2.22+ per month), that you could gift someone a subscription to.

Dry Brush - To promote a tiny, daily self-care moment. It's such a simple step anyone can add to their skin routine to exfoliate and stimulate the nervous system. It also helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. It's easy, but I'd suggest sharing this video for the proper technique to stimulate the lymph system.

Ceramic Mug - Why does sipping a hot bevie out of a really great mug bring so. much. joy!? It's those little moments of bliss that can turn a day around and I'm a sucker for a great mug. Support small businesses by browsing homemade ceramic mugs on Etsy, I especially love a white speckled look.

Matcha - Not all matcha is created equal, and if you have a matcha lover in your life, I promise they will appreciate the amazing quality of Matchaful products. They are such a treat.

Home-Cooked Meal - Never underestimate the impact of a home-cooked meal made with love. The simple act of taking meal-time off of someone's to-do list can mean so much, especially for parents or anyone going through a tough time. I like to stick with cozy but healthy dishes during these colder months, like this soup, curry, and this plant-based Shepherd's Pie. If you're looking to add dessert to the menu, these brownies are crowd pleasers.

Saje Diffuser and Essential Oils - I am no expert when it comes to essential oils, but I do know how relaxing it is to unwind at the end of the day with the diffuser on and an amazing scent, giving off at-home spa vibes. The options are endless, but some of my favorite oils include lavender, sage and eucalyptus.

Samaya Meditation Cushion - The key to being consistent with a meditation practice is to limit the barriers, and having a little spot dedicated specifically to taking a moment to pause is so inviting. This pillow is just one more reason to encourage your loved one to take a moment for themselves.

Sunrise Alarm Clock - This clock is one of the BEST hacks to becoming a morning person. Pre-kiddo this alarm clock helped to gently wake me up for early morning workouts and through those dark winter mornings. Such a great gift for anyone who “isn't a morning person," but wants to be.

Donate on behalf of someone - Giving can come in many forms, and this year especially I feel we're all taking time to reflect on what we have, and how we can support others. Donating on behalf of someone to their favorite charity is such a beautiful way to honor them, while also giving back. At the end of the day, let's not forget the true spirit of this season.

I'd love to hear your feedback on this list, and any other suggestions you may have! Happy Holidays to you and yours

xx
